Emerging Green Professionals' Mentor Mixer event was an opportunity for emerging professionals to mix and mingle with some of Toronto’s foremost leaders in the green building industry. Leaders in sustainable construction, renewable energy, property management, engineering, and more came out to meet with industry up-and-comers to share stories about their personal career journey, talk about industry trends, and provide advice on professional development.

The general structure of the event was to have rotating groups of mentees (5-6 people) shift tables every 15-20 minutes to sit with a mentor for informal discussions.

This event was a great opportunity for students, new grads, and entry-level sustainability professionals with backgrounds in engineering, policy, environmental science, corporate sustainability, etc to come learn more about the industry's trajectory and get personal career advice.
