Hazel Farley, Regional Director, Greater Toronto Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council

Hazel Farley is the Regional Director for the Greater Toronto Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council. She has worked in the not for profit sector for over 13 years both in charitable and industry associations.
In her previous role at Green Roofs for Healthy Cities she was part of the senior management team that shaped the fledgling organization to be a viable North American wide industry association headquartered in Toronto. A critical part of Hazel’s role included the development of the Accredited Green Roof Professional designation, launched in 2010.
Hazel’s interest in industry association management led her to study for and achieve her Certified Association Executive designation in 2012.

Eddie Camilleri is a Certified Engineering Technologist, Certified Energy Manager, LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction, with 19 years in the energy field. Currently, Eddie is the National Energy and Sustainability Program Manager for Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions that offers energy and sustainability solutions to multiple real estate clients with a variety of facility types.
Dan Stone is a Senior Associate with Planscape Inc. providing consulting services for both municipal and private sector clients. Mr. Stone is a registered professional planner with more than 25 years of experience in the Municipal sector with the Region of Halton, Town of Georgina, Township of King and the Town of East Gwillimbury with both Official Plan policy as well as development review / land use approvals. Dan's professional background also includes experience with the Niagara Escarpment Commission, the Waterfront Toronto Revitalization Corporation and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority. Dan is a recognized leader in sustainable community design and offers extensive experience in sustainable development policy & municipal energy planning. In addition, Dan has a strong background in the area of municipal economic development including Downtown Revitalization, Community Improvement Plans and investment attraction strategies.

Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Building Science from Ryerson University, in Toronto, and is a graduate of the Sustainable Design and Build program at Fleming College. Chris is also a LEED® Accredited Professional. Realizing the need to make a difference in an often incredibly wasteful and unhealthy industry, Chris formed Greening Homes Ltd. in 2007.
Chris is a sought-after lecturer who speaks regularly on a variety of green building-related topics at the University of Toronto’s School of Architecture, Ryerson University, Sir Sanford Fleming College, and the Living City Campus at Kortright.
