Event Details 

Ontario’s post-secondary institutions are leading the way in green building design excellence, and in demonstrating how green building projects can serve as catalysts to spur academic research, curriculum development and job opportunities for students. The Post-Secondary Summit: Advancing Green Building on Campus will highlight green building excellence at Ontario universities and colleges in four sessions:
  1. New Green Buildings on Campus
  2. Building Performance and Retrofits on Campus
  3. Interactive Discussion: From Campus Projects to Market Transformation - Connecting Buildings to Research, Training and Curriculum
  4. The Future of Green on Campus
This event will also feature a tour of Mohawk College's Joyce Centre for Partnership and Innovation, a cutting-edge building that was the second in Canada to earn the Zero Carbon Building – Design certification.
 
The intended audience for this event is on-campus facilities operations and sustainability program staff, educators and institutional leaders, architects, engineers, public sector employees, students, and technology manufacturers.
