GOLFER REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW SOLD OUT! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU IN 2021.
Join us this fall for a day of safe fun, and support the work of the Canada Green Building Council!
At CaGBC, our main priority is to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our members, volunteers and staff across the country as we begin to transition toward recovery from the unprecedented health crisis. Our teams have worked diligently over the past 90 days to create safe environments for all stakeholders as we remain focused on the important work ahead in this critical decade for climate action.
CaGBC – Greater Toronto Chapter is pleased to welcome you to the fifth annual Drive for Change Golf Tournament in a revised format that incorporates measures to ensure the safety of all participants. This year, we will be returning to the famous Jack Nicklaus-designed Glen Abbey Gold Club in Oakville. Glen Abbey has adopted strict safety protocols that include enhanced sanitization, physical distancing, reducing the number of golfers and changing the format to a tee time tournament. Despite the changes, the tournament remains a day of great golf and fun prizes, and an opportunity to support the Canada Green Building Council! We encourage you to click here to learn about the safety protocols Glen Abbey Golf Club is taking, as well as how the Drive for Change tournament will be adapting this year.
Please note that this year, 100% of tournament prizing proceeds will go towards Food4Kids Halton!

About the Glen Abbey Golf Club
Designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, Glen Abbey has hosted the RBC Canadian Open, a PGA Tour event and Canada's National Open Championship, 28 times.
A distinguishing feature of the Glen Abbey course are the "Valley Holes", numbered 11 through 15. On number 11, a par 4, players tee off a cliff to a fairway that is approximately 60 feet below on the valley floor. The second shot must clear Sixteen Mile Creek to the green. Holes 12, 13 and 14 all use Sixteen Mile Creek as a hazard of one form or another. Number 15 is a short par 3 with a sharply-sloping green, after which players climb out of the valley to the 16th hole.
The property is also home to the Academies of ClubLink, the headquarters of Golf Canada, the Canadian Golf Museum and Hall of Fame, and the TaylorMade Performance Lab Prizes. The course is Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf-certified.
Drive for Change will also support:
Food4Kids provides a supply of healthy foods for children living in poverty sustaining entire weekends without food. Since COVID-19 and the closure of schools in lieu of the bags of food they are providing grocery gift cards for children as long as needed. The number of children needing their service has substantially increased to 779 and new children are added often. It only costs $10 per child for a weekend supply of food. Their program is run with a dedicated army of volunteers and they are thankful to their caring community that supports their children financially.
