Event description
Since the spring, the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), along with partners, members and allies, has been pushing the benefits of a green recovery. According to CaGBC research, government investment in a green recovery that prioritizes green building combined with progressive policy leadership could, by 2030, lead to over 600,000 direct green building jobs in Ontario. Of course, investment in green buildings and green infrastructure has the power to not only kickstart the green economy, but meaningfully lower carbon emissions.
In light of this opportunity, CaGBC is teaming up with Enbridge to deliver a series of webinars focused on how municipalities across Ontario can harness green buildings to spur their COVID recovery. Our November 6th webinar will focus on Guelph, and will feature the following speakers and panelists:
- Alex Chapman, Executive Director, Our Energy Guelph
- David Brix, Principal, Terra View Homes
- Maria Finoro, Founder, M.F. Property Management Ltd.
- Unto Kihlanki, President, TALO Architect Inc.
